1.1 Overview
Opencontour is a web-based software that provides cost-benefit mine design options and provides foresight into designs that maximize productivity. It uses CAD functionality for open-pit mine planning. The mine cuts and models are linked to a physical and financial scheduler.
Additionally, Opencontour offers solutions for heap leach stacking, heap leach recovery, and vertical extraction mining.
Opencontour is a browser-based application that uses open-source services to deliver rapid results.
NOTE: Updates are performed automatically, users do not need to download and install patches.
1.2 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of Opencontour mine design software. It will include aspects such as signing up for an account, setting up a project file, and familiarizing the user with each of the features that the program has to offer.
